We are pleased to welcome you to this year’s PRE10 Conference entitled: Protection and Restoration of the Environment, which will be held in Corfu (Ionian Sea), 05-09 July, 2010.

This is the 10th of a series of biannual conferences organized by the University of Ioannina and Stevens Institute of Technology. The congress will commence on Monday July 5th and conclude on Friday July 9th, 2010.

The aim of the conference is the presentation of timely scientific research and application studies by engineers and scientists on topics concerning the Environment.

Specific Objectives of the Conference :

• Exchange of information, experiences and achievements in environmental protection.
• Evaluation of currently applied technologies and presentation of innovative ideas for the protection of the environment.
• Identification of educational, regulatory and research needs for environmental protection.

Corfu, the venue of PRE10 Conference this year, is one of the most picturesque island in Greece located in the Ionian Sea with superb nature and easily accessible coastline. The island has well preserved buildings with excellent architecture, rich history and interesting local tradition in art and music. All these make Corfu an extremely popular destination.

We hope you will enjoy a high-quality conference coupled with our wholehearted hospitality in a magnificent Greek island so that you will have the opportunity to spend some fruitful time with friends in a relaxing atmosphere.
