Submission of Abstracts


Participants interested in presenting oral communications or poster presentations are invited to submit an abstract.


Deadline for submission of abstracts: April 11th, 2010

Abstracts submitted from April 12th, 2010 onwards will NOT be accepted.

Reply with comments / Acceptance : April 30th, 2010

Abstracts must be submitted online via the website.

Full paper submission Deadline: June 6th, 2010


Final paper acceptance notification: June 10th, 2010

Guidelines for the preparation and submission of Abstracts:


  • All abstracts must be prepared and presented in English.
  • The abstract title should be written in the first field in capital and bold letters. Please do not use abbreviations.
  • In the field "University/Institution/Organization/Company" the University, Institution, Organization, Company, City and Country for all authors should be provided.
  • Author(s) names should be included in the field "Authors" (e.g. G.E. Papadopoulos). Reference numbering should be used to indicate which authors belong to each University/Institution/Organization/Company of the second field.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 300 words and must be written in "times new roman" letter, SIZE 12, in black color.
  • Only one table can be included in each abstract.
  • Every table corresponds to 50 words. Tables must be saved as image files first before uploading and then should be attached to the abstract. Every table will be placed at the bottom of the abstract.
  • You will not be able to edit your paper after submission.
  • PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE COPIES OF THE SAME PAPER.


For any abstract submitted for presentation, the Registration Fee for at least one of the authors must be paid. If a participant pays the Registration Fee in order to submit an Abstract and the Abstract is finally not accepted, there will be a refund less 40% only if the author does not desire to participate to the Conference and send a written request to the Secretariat within 20 days of the notification of non acceptance.


AUTHORS MUST STRICTLY ADHERE TO THE INSTRUCTIONS, OTHERWISE ABSTRACTS CANNOT BE CONSIDERED FOR PRESENTATION. SUCH ABSTRACTS WILL BE REJECTED AND THE AUTHOR WILL NOT BE INFORMED.


After submission you will receive an “Abstract Submission Number” indicating that your abstract has successfully been submitted. This number must be used in all correspondence. If you do not receive this number immediately after your submission, your abstract has not been registered. Please print or save this receipt on your computer, since it will serve as a confirmation of successful abstract submission.
